This story is about an old guy by the name of Bill Bond who retires to the beach and decides to take the advice he reads in an article, "don`t be afraid to flirt with the ladies" if you want to have a more interesting retirement. He does so with a zeal and dedication that surprises himself. One hot and sultry evening while dining on the deck of a popular Delmarva restaurant called Hannahs he meets a 23 year old vivacious Russian girl by the name of Olga. Their affection for each other is both spontaneous and real. They begin an odyssey of sensual adventures that captures every human emotion which would eventually lead to an international event with major consequences.

I have chosen this book because I am genuinely interested in Russia but I did not expect to find so many factual mistakes in spelling female names, for ex., Svetlani instead of Svetlana, or names of streets, cities, etc., e.g., the most famous Moscow walking street is called Arbat but not Arabat as the author thinks. Even more frustrating is lack of knowledge of English grammar, for example, writing "her" instead of "she" or a wrong use of apostrophe, etc. This is annoying, to say the least. But even more disappointing is the way Russian female characters are portrayed. The overall impression - the book is very shallow and provides a very primitive image of Russia and Russians. In our modern world with its easy access to virtually every information source, it is a shame to write and publish such books.Product details

WOW, nothing got done in my home until I was able to finish this book. I couldn't stop reading and would suggest this to anyone!!!
It's not a great piece of literature, but it's entertaining and i know some of the characters in the book so i read it for that reason.
